original title (US): "small carrot pushed against glass scanner"

removed carrot from microwavable chicken fried rice, placed roughly on scanner. no digital editing (except redeye reduction); pure emotion.

if you look closely you can see the struggle of life.


UPDATE: in a tragic accident involving clove cigarettes and birkenstocks, carrot's [former] home was knocked to the ground, thus spilling its contents onto the tile- including carrot. I am looking for a nice, caring owner for carrot since I can no longer provide shelter for him and the medical bills are too high. please call if interested.
